  I have always been treated with respect and if I need to be seen because of my pain Dr. Schuster's office has done everything so to make my appt. as soon as they can. I know what it mean to be in pain. I have had 3 surgeries and still can't seem to find a way to stop this pain. If only I can have just one day with out pain. So those of you who are complaining about pain I know pain. I have bean reading some complaints, and I can totally understand being in pain and not getting the help you want or need, but the truth is the complaint should not be directed to doctors but to your insurance. Getting the right health insurance is what you need. Doctors can't just accept who ever thinks they should be seen because they are in such pain. So people take your complaints to the right place. By the way doctors are human, not gods

  Horrible experience. My brother was told he had two compressed vertebrae after a seizure put him in the Deaconess ER. The on-call ER doctor Dr VanderWilde wrote a referral for him to go see his colleague Dr Shuster at NW Orthopedic Specialists. When we came by two days later to schedule an appointment the reception staff were borderline rude and told us he couldn't be seen there because Dr Shuster wasn't on-call the night my brother went to the ER and they don't take his insurance unless the doctor was on-call. We went back to the Deaconess ER and waited for an hour and a half while the nursing staff ran around trying to find out what to do. Thankfully Dr VanderWilde was working that day and ended up writing another referral, this time for Dr Olson in the same office and had the referral faxed over. When we went back in the next day to schedule an appointment they basically told us to get lost and they weren't going to see my brother regardless of what Dr VanderWilde or the Deaconess ER said. Our experience was less than stellar and we were extremely displeased with the lack of compassion from the office staff or the Doctors that work there. I recommend you find literally anywhere else to go if you care about yourself or your loved ones.
