- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The medical staff are fine, the office has questionable billing practices. Went as a new patient for a basic physical, which is covered 100% by insurance. Asked the doc about a mole, he said it was fine, no tests or anything. Got billed $45 after insurance as a diagnostic visit for the mole only. The billing department said that once you ask about a specific complaint they no longer consider it a checkup. She claimed a physical meant only that they take your vitals and send you along, and once you raise a concern it becomes a diagnostic appointment. She also said new patients don't get billed for a basic physical because establishing care is like doing a diagnosis. I paid my bill, and will not be returning to this office.December 31, 2016by Tyler
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Questionable billing practices indeed. Had them bill my insurance for services they did not provide trying to get a higher rate, which would have forced me to pay into my deductible for a what was in actuality a simple prescription follow up. It did get resolved, but I had to make multiple phone calls to their billing department and my insurance company in order to do so. Their billing staff is very rude, and speak to you as if you were a misbehaving child. If their billing seems questionable push back and keep pushing. Confirm coverage with your insurance provider and dispute if needed. As for the rest of their team, I have no complaints. The doctors, PA's, and other staff are wonderful and the quality of care I have received has been excellent.
