  I came into this office with a torn rotator cuff. I was in a lot of pain. I had called way ahead to make sure they would get the ex-ray I already had so I would not have to pay for another one. The day of my visit Dr. Scott said she did not have my x-ray and I needed an MRI but she could not set up one without an x-ray so I was forced to pay for yet another set of x-rays to get the MRI I desperately needed. Dr. Scott said it would take her office a week to a week and a half to get approval for this MRI. It was Tuesday afternoon when she told me this. On the following Friday just before 5:00 (quitting time) I got a call from her office and they only just then attempting to get approval from my insurance. By Saturday morning I could not take the pain any more....I called my insurance company and they told me I needed NO prior authorization for this MRI. My husband took me to the emergency room and they immediately gave me an MRI and the results. Dr. Scott's office is inept in their duties and she as well since it reflects on her their short comings. Her personality was akin to a dead fish with no empathy for human suffering. Obviously she won't be doing my surgery!
